About Milan Design
Regina Gardner Milan founded Milan Design in 1988 with just a few clients, including a multi-million dollar telecommunications company.
Over the years, Milan Design has grown considerably, providing a full range of graphic design, web design, advertising and marketing services to dozens of companies across many industries. Combining her expertise in both design, general and direct response advertising, Regina Milan is leading her teams in the creation of multi-media campaigns that build brands and generate revenue for the firms’s clients — and garner a number of industry awards for Milan Design in the process.
Milan Design has always been a virtual design and advertising agency. It’s a business model that has allowed Milan to provide strategic and creative work that rivals that of its much larger competitors without incurring — and passing on to Milan clients — the heavy operating costs for which those agencies are known.
As for Milan Design’s very first client? It's still a client, only now it’s a $90-billion telecommunications, wireless and broadband company.

Brand + Identity
Milan Design works collaboratively to align creative strategy and design with business goals. We create systems that communicate “the big idea”. We refine this with messaging and identity guidelines with an awareness of the best practices in the field.
Education
Regina is also an educator teaching all levels of Design, Typography and Motion Graphics. She is an AIGA student group advisor and a strong advocate for education in the design community. She has taught at both UMASS Lowell and Boston University .
